We have an exercise spin bike and being able to attach your phone to the handlebars is a nice option. We picked this phone mount up to replace an old one that broke and this works really well.You attach it to the handlebars with an adjustable strap and the mount itself is stretchy and fits around the edge of your phone. It's attached in the center with a plastic swivel that will let you turn your phone from portrait to landscape mode. The mount holds your phone securely and is easy to put your phone in and out of.I don't know how this would work on a mountain bike or motorcycle but based on how well it holds on our stationary bike, I think it would be fine.
