In fairness to the description, IPhone 13 was not listed with the compatible cellphones. But it seemed big and stretchy enough to at least fit, so I placed the order anyway. The product was indeed able to be installed over the iPhone including it’s protective case. The card holder in the back was not needed, so the outer half was very carefully sliced off with a new sharp razor blade, leaving the inner half to remain. Next, the inner portion of the card that remained was trimmed, in order to not block one of the 2 camera lenses; there. was no blockage of the selfie lens so no trimming required there. The nice long lanyard was too much in the way for normal everyday use, so it was removed along with the metal swivel connection, and replaced with a short compact strap having no metal connector that could reach the screen. Finally, a small flat (to prevent rolling) elastic woman’s ponytail gatherer was installed over the top and down to just below the 2 main lenses; the purpose was to keep the straps on both sides just a little bit away from covering the top buttons that are on each side of the iphone 13.These modifications are not recommended to be attempted, because more likely than not, the precise cutting necessary would not go well and a strap would be cut, thus ruining the new holder.For cellphones that have lenses and buttons not blocked by the holder, functionality should be great. The long lanyard would also be ideal for hiking, sightseeing and other activities where instant access might be of great benefit for photographic or video opportunities that might come frequently, or all of a sudden and unexpectantly.
