This Mini-Projector is a work horse for me; and it never gets hot. Picture quality is great. The brightness is vivid if projecting onto a white background.The value is unsurpassed, as I had bought many expensive top name projectors for my schools over the years.This unit is for my art studio, to project my original photos, enabling me to see details in best light, before creating drawings and paintings on large canvases. Amazingly so.Relieved that it arrived unbroken, as the original thin packaging was slipped into a thin plastic mailer bag. Should have been boxed in an Amazon box ? with inflated cushion material. The price is great too.I am super happy with my new mini Projector！！I have been browsing around for 2 months and It was hard for me to make this decision, but I took a chance and it is a Great, compact little projector.Picture quality is GREAT, it arrived quick, it was well packaged, everything was included except 2 AAA batteries for the remote control (I had some on hand), fairly easy to set up (my husband did in 15 min) that included connecting it to WIFI. There are multiple ways you can use it to watch whatever you want by HDMI or direct connections (with your smartphone or computer). It is simple and easy to set up and it should only take about 5 minutes from start to watching your favorite movie. The own speaker is good enough, Since I had a great speaker that I connected, then the sound was amazing) It came with all the wires you'll need to do most everything and a huge screen that came with a little bag We don’t use it since the picture qualify already great without that screen. The picture I took was light on, if I turn off the light, the picture quality will be brighter. We just use this indoor for now, since it is really cold outside, but we plan to have a birthday party for kids then we can just project on garage door. It make me feel better to let kids watch movie because the size of screen and the Picture quality, my family are all really happy with this purchase. We had so many great time together! Just need a speaker to hook up if not your surrounding the projector just to hear a whisperingThis was returned after a test with another projector about the same price.Why, you ask?Low brightness, when up against a projector with many fewer ANSI lumens.Just like voltage/power/etc, these LED projectors should have a an addition Amazon requirement to show ANSI light measurement.So if you have a dark place, and a high quality screen, this might just fill the bill.The image is pretty dark, and the projector can't be used if there's even a small table lamp is on. The space has to be very dark to get the colors visible. I don't understand how they came up with the lumens rating, but they definitely aren't the ANSI lumens.The other major problem is that the image can't be focused sharp across the whole screen at the same time. It either sharp on the right, or on the left, but not on the whole screen at once. And the unsharp par looks doubled, rather than just fuzzy, so it's really distracting. At first I thought that my screen wasn't flat, but then I got a better screen, and the issue still remains.Edit:The seller reached out and offered a compensation for the unsatisfactory user experience.
