I bought this to use on my new rural property while I build my house. One one half of the property, I get 1 bar if the wind blows. On the other half, I got the dependable SOS. I plugged this in and now I get 2 bars in the SOS area. The data speed still isn't very good but I'm more worried about sending and receiving texts mainly. It does work. Just don't expect it to boost a lot due to it only being 12v. The only thing I do not like is how it requires you to keep a min distance between the exterior antenna and interior but the antenna cables are not that long. I doesn't seem like this was made to be permanently installed in a vehicle. But for 130 bucks. I'll accept this product no problem. Oh and I am using Cricket on Band 2 and 66.
