While the product looks neat, and the ability to mechanically raise the different platforms is cool, you could tell from the first time it was used that the gears were cheap plastic (you can tell by the grinding/whirring noise). And, as I sort of expected, the gears are now stripped. This has happened on the portion that raises to charge the phone, but I expect the watch charging portion to also start slipping any minute now. I couldn't believe how short-lived the life of this product was. Literally just two weeks of use (phone pad was moved only 10 times before it stopped working). Save your money, it's complete garbage.
