Have had this for about a week now. Like others mentioned, remote has never worked. Not a huge issue since we just use Alexa. Great noise level and lighting options are awesome. Really nice to change up and can be set to a schedule. I will say for high ceilings, this fan is a little smaller and so I feel as though it’s slightly less impactful from a breeze standpoint. But kicking up the speed levels fixes that!Smart wi-fi LED ceiling fan brings out the hidden beauty of any room.Never in my life have I owned a ceiling fan that cost so much money. There were a few features that led me to pick this one up:•Works with Alexa.•Forward and reverse mode.•Flush mount.I love my Amazon Echo devices. They're in every room of my two-story house. Being able to tell Alexa to set the Bedroom Ceiling fan’s wind mode to “Natural," speed 4 while I'm taking a shower is so darn useful. Entering the bedroom once finished is so refreshing. Temperature is set exactly the way I like it.Even if I'm in the basement and my wife has set off the smoke detector (Trying out a new Food Network recipe of course,) I can ask Alexa to set the ceiling fan’s wind mode to reverse, speed 10. Helps dissipate the smoke a lot faster. Maybe I should get one or two for use in the kitchen?The ceiling fan is mounted directly over my Queen size bed. Not a lot of room left for a down rod or chain suspension. Having it mounted flush against the ceiling eliminates any accidental knocks upside my head while enjoying intimate time with my Lady!Setting up the Carro app on my iPhone 13 Pro went smoothly. Have a simultaneous dual-band wireless router that uses smart connect which automatically picks the best band (2.4GHz/5GHZ) for a device. This technology keeps me from having to connect my iPhone to a dedicated 2.4GHZ band just to perform initial ceiling fan network configuration through the app.The only problem I did encounter is that the bag containing the M5/M6 screws, along with the remote control were missing. Did receive a replacement unit the very next day. Problem quickly solved.My wife and I have received so many complements on how nice our bedroom look after installing this SMAAIR Smart Wi-Fi LED Ceiling fan. It’s an attention grabber!Thumbs up on this one. That’s The Truth!I took a risk on purchasing this fan since there were not a lot of reviews. We have only had it installed for one week, but here are the pros and cons so far:Pros- The fan has a clean modern look, which looks great in our space. The Alexa compatibility is awesome. You can tell the fan to have to adjust to a white light, yellow light, and adjust the speed. The fan is quiet and was fairly easy to install.Cons- The remote seems fairly useless. When I press the buttons on the remote, they don't always work. At this point, we are controlling it by talking to Alexa.I searched high and low for a gold/white fan. I feel like this was the best option. I am happy with the purchase.Bought this to replace my 1990's living room fan/light. The install was easy (for me anyways - my oldest son/brother installed). It hooked up to Alexa easily (teenage son did this). The remote works as great, (I handled putting batteries in :)). BUT . . . . MY LIVING ROOM IS LIKE A CAVE! Even at the brightest setting - with the white and yellow light turned on to brightest. We play cards under this light and everyone complains about how dark it is. I would send back if it didn't require uninstalling it.The white setting vs yellow setting has to be done separately. Very annoying "Alexa - turn on white light" "Alexa - turn on yellow light" The engineer who designed this should have did whatever to make the light the light, not like 2 different lights.The biggest problem though with this product is the brightness. I have led strip lights in very large laundry room and smaller pantry - they are VERY VERY bright. Really wish this light was much much brighter.This fan is so nice! It can turn on so strong and blow papers off my table which is actually nice in our living room/kitchen combo area. The light seemed a little small but it actually works really well and is bright! I love the choice between yellow and white light and I absolutely LOVE the smart capability to link to our Alexa. It’s very nice when one of our many children inevitably loses the remote control to it. Definitely recommend!Took a chance on this one with no reviews and so glad I did. The fan works excellent in a smart home environment and is packed full of smart features within the app. Easy to assemble and install. Seller was very responsive and helpful when we had shipping damage and needed a new glass assembly. The blades come in 2 color choices which was a nice option. You won't be disappointed with this one if you are looking for feature packed smart ceiling fan.Everything about this ceiling fan sucks! The brass looks sprayed on, the blades are some type cheap material.The fan functioned well the first two weeks but when we had problems getting more than one speed and contacted SMAAIR for customer service, they insisted on sending a new electronic board for me to replace instead of sending a whole new fan. They insisted it would be easy to replace myself... well it wasn't easy and when I tried to fix it myself, I fell and was injured in the fall. Even after replacing the board the fan never functioned properly and the app never worked. Not a good experience.
