Very handy.Actually by pressing the pick/hung button when there is no call, iphone music starts to play. Another press, the music stops. Just like an ordinary earphone.But the light button is not working. Anyway, the iphone rings when there is a call.At the end, I recommend this product.This retro handset stopped working after the return date of Sept 9. Neither Amazon nor the seller will refund or exchange this defective item. This is the first time ever that I have been left with a piece of junk like this. Buyer beware!Headset would not fit my cell phone.It would be nice if the cord was longer or stretched a little more... but I still like it. Cheap..but fun.We bought this for my father-in-law to use when he was in the hospital (and couldn't have face-to-face visitors because covid) since he doesn't do well with smartphones or speakerphone. It was easy for him to use since there's just one button to answer or hang up a call, and a volume dial. We coule tell it made him much less anxious when he could hear and talk to us easier.I can't control the volume from the phone, I have to use whatever device I'm on. I can hear pretty clearly but when I make calls there's alot of static. Not a bad purchase for the price tho.I get a lot of static when my relative calls with this but I do not know if it is from the area she is at or the device itself.I was very anxious to receive this when I purchased it on Wednesday.My elderly Mother who just endured a two week hospital stay, is now fully recovered but weak so she's in A Rehab facility to regain her strength.I'm not able to stay overnight with her as I did in the hospital & this makes her feel confused & isolated as I'm her sole caregiver.She has a cell phone which she call me anytime but she has trouble with the touch screen so I was thrilled to see this, thinking it would solve everything, but now I'm just heartbroken.The item didn't WORK AT ALL!The indicator light didn't work & the person who called me said I sounded like I was in a canyon & all they heard was STATIC.I asked for a replacement & hopefully the one I got was just broken!To Be Continued ...........Purchased this item to use with my cellphone when doing long calls, it is extremely light weight, has a volume control and appears that one can answer calls from handset and hang up. First the cord is way to short and very flimsy, doubt it would stand up, as a result the unit keeps pulling against plug and wanting to un plug, sound quality from my end, not terrible, From The other end, reported as echo y and staticky , the answer call feature does not work, the end call feature does, the volume works fine as well.When something is worth a measly 20 bucks and not even worth that money , that is saying something, returned sameAt first just the receive was hearing the loud clicking but after 4 or 5 x using it we both could hear the loud interuptive clicking noise. Dont recommendBut there's a "but". The cord is very short and the fact that it is springy is hazardous. Got an extension.Sound is ok (for the price).The sound quality is atrocious. It crackles and makes the caller sound very distant. Reminds me of long distance phone calls to a party line in the 1970s! I do NOT recommend this product.Fonctionne très mal. Son pire que mauvais.
