High quality build, looks and feels great. The effects are cute. When shopping for a kid friendly karaoke mic it can be hard to tell exactly what each one does, so I’ll try and explain what did or didn’t work for us.This basically works either 100% stand alone, and isn’t great for that as the amplification over normal singing voice isn’t that great. The main use though is as a Bluetooth SPEAKER adding in your voice from the mic. You can’t connect this like you would a Bluetooth PC mic to have your voice come out of the PC or your TV.Streaming via YouTube karaoke or an app works fine from both a windows laptop and from a chrome book . ALL the sound comes out of the mic, and you read the words on the laptop or attached monitor.Connecting to TV didn’t work at all, it couldn’t pair with my LG OLED TV as either a speaker or a mic.Connecting laptop to TV. This works if you use HDMI and just connect it as a monitor, casting was too buggy and I haven’t done extensive troubleshooting.Using it unpaired to laptop or TV running karaoke app or YouTube technically works, but the sound quality on the mic isn’t close to home theater standards so you might as well just be singing along without a mic.I had really hope to pair it directly to the smart TV as an input, as that works with USB wireless mics designed for PC, Those don’t feel like you are doing karaoke though.Overall 4 stars as it is good quality and its features work well and are on par with other wireless karaoke mics. For what it does it is easy to use and looks and feels nice.Good qualityThis thing is so fun to use. Everyone has a ball using it. Highly recommendMy 9yo daughter loves it, and the voice changer is the ice on the cake.I let my 2.5 years old granddaughter to sing along with Karakoe mode. She enjoys it very much. It's user-friendly and easy to sync with smartphone. It's going to be fun to use in family reunion.Best sound everAt the price you pay, this lovely device is worth it. It functions as a 2-in-1, bluetooth speaker and bluetooth microphone. Both work flawlessly and with no pain. There are many uses of it.(1) As a portable PA, it works the best in this, I think. It's totally portable, especially with a sturdy and perfect case. No other product as far as I know offer this. The sound is loud than expected.(2) As a Karaoke machine so that you sing with a music played from your smart phone, don't unrealistically compare this bluetooth speaker to other top-quality delicate speakers. If you don't do that, the quality of speaker is good although the low frequency is not rendered perfectly.(3) As a microphone to record your voice, to be honest, I have not found any other similar products are different. The two-way traffic (phone to speaker and microphone to phone) decreased the sound quality for some apps.Overall, this is the best choice if you are shopping for a device like this. Do not expect the quality of it is comparable with professional audio device. Consider the price of it, it is worth every penny.
