Anker has my support for having the best charging cords in the market, I have purchased multiple cords for various devices and have impressed with them all. Had one bad experience with 1 cord which was replaced by Anker quickly. Top notch customer service. This cable is great. However I prefer the braided version.I'll do a review for BOTH the 3ft & 6ft cable since I bought BOTH. The only reason I returned the 3ft one was because it was too short for my needs. I need it to reach my tabletop as I put my charging block on the ground. The quality for both cables are the same. I currently have the 6ft one so that I have easy access to it. Anker is known for making good quality stuff and that is still true today.i wont buy any other cable unless it is anker, have had the best luck with themThere is no best product that anker..Good quality and Fast charge USB cableIf this is helpful, please vote yes, I don't review often but I want folks to be able to see these.INITIAL REVIEW, PERFORMANCE:My second review on Amazon. I wrote a review for the Anker PowerPort+ and I will follow up with this one as I bought it with that. If you are going to just buy the wall charger and use your old cable, do yourself a favor and just buy a new cable. This is specifically designed for the Anker PowerPort and I will say that the combination of this with the PowerPort has allowed me to charge my Galaxy Note 4 with it's large battery to a 75% charge in 25 minutes. It even beat Samsung's included "supercharger" which failed after 7 months. I will follow up on this device as it wears and let you all know any changes.SHIPPING:This was shipped in a high quality box inside what appears to be either a quality, thick plastic bag or possibly a non-conductive bag to protect the item but I am unsure about the latter. Either way, it is shipped with the usual quality materials I've seen with the other two items I've ordered from Anker.PROS:- The rubber of the cord is thick, and appears to be very durable and will likely hold up to alot of abuse. I accidentally shut it in my car door with about 6" hanging out the door and drove 8 minutes and when I took it out, there was no damage and it works like a charm.- The plugs appear to be made to precise dimensions on both ends. What I mean by this is that low quality USB's are loose and wiggle around. Not these. They fit very snugly, as if the industry standard dimensions were adhered to down to the millimeter, no wiggle, and they have a little resistance going into the plugs. The rubber grips are seamlessly attached to the metal plug ends. What this tells me is the company has impressive quality control and pays attention to detail. Again I will say from my other review I am a jaded, cynical buyer but I am very impressed with Anker.- Price. As I have said before, for the quality, you cannot beat the price.CONS:- None so far. I usually do not like to ever say "nothing wrong" as I believe there is always room for improvement, but so far I don't even have the slightest quibbles with the item. Then again a USB cord is pretty straight forward, and yet many companies still screw it up and make it cheap, not Anker. Their cord holds up to my fairly rigorous scrutiny.ADVICE TO MANUFACTURER:Keep up leaving the nice little thank you notes in the package with the high quality shipping. As long as you live up to what you say in the thank you note about any issues the customer might have, I think this is a classy touch and one that has really helped earn my business. And I am in my mid-twenties, so it is probable I have a good amount of time for repeat business.I purchased this cable to use in my car so as to not be swapping cables all the time. I've got two of the 6ft Anker nylon braided cables-one red, one black, both 6ft and I absolutely love them. When I read the other reviews that say their plug connectors are coming off I have to wonder what kind of treatment they're receiving. Mine have survived me, my 10yr old daughter and 8yr old son. We don't abuse them but we don't treat them gently either and they charge like a downhill freight train. I was so looking forward to receiving the 6ft gray cable with aramid fibers (I.e.-Kevlar) but when it showed up it was the wrong one-just one of the 6ft rubbery feeling ones. I checked my order, invoice, and item number just to make sure I hadn't accidently ordered the wrong one, but in my invoice it plainly said "6ft aramid fiber charging cable". It's really aggravating that to return it it'll probably cost more than the $6 I paid for it on sale. These things get used alot and I really looked forward to having the best and most sturdiest charging cable Anker makes. This is why I absolutely HATE ordering anything online. It's just a big gamble.UPDATE: When I wrote this review I'd just received these cables and when I first examined them they had a rubbery type of feeling to them. Now after I'd bought two of the 6ft nylon braided cables I'd come to expect that these cables would be constructed in a similar manner. If I had taken the time to read all of the info on these before I reviewed then I would've seen that the Kevlar, a.k.a. aramid fibers, were inside the cable and not the outermost covering. It made sense to me that they'd cover the whole thing and not just some of the inside cables but that's what they did. If I'd just taken the time to read all of the info about this instead of immediately writing the review I did I wouldn't have to admit that I jumped the gun on this, so, for the record:1. I received the correct cables.2. They do have Kevlar-just inside the cable.3. Both Anker and Amazon did what they were were supposed to.4. Cables are working perfectly and doing an excellent job. Now, having said all this it still doesn't change the fact that I'd rather be able to touch and see up close when I buy something vs. ordering online because if there's a problem it's much more of an issue to deal with than just returning to the store and being done but that's got nothing to do with this situation. My apologies for not making sure I knew what I was talking about before I started writing things that weren't correct. Again, my sincere apologies.I do believe Anker is one of the best third-party charging cables you can get, and I decided to buy one based off of other's experience. Unfortunately, the connecting tip became SUPER loose after only a few months of use. I checked to see if it had something to do with my phone, but other charging cables held up and weren't as insanely loose as this one.As much as I love the durability and general quality of this product, the fact that the cable is so loose-fitting makes it something I won't buy again in the future.Best quality phone charging cable I've ever had. A little more expensive then most of the cables seen online, but way worth it. I've owned several of these Anker PowerLine cables over time and they last 10x longer then cheap chinese knock offs or the overpriced cables from retail stores.Cables may not have the cool braiding that a lot of manufactures offer, but the quality of these cables are far superior. One important thing you may miss on looking for cables is the actual quality of the USB connectors. Most cables I find, no longer work in my 3+ year old Samsung S7 Edge, due to the poorly designed micro USB that fails over time. These Anker Cables are in fact, the only cable I've found that still connects snug and stays connected to my phone. After buying a number of cheap charging cables that didn't last, I finally spent a little more and bought this one. You get what you pay for, I guess. Even the feel of this cord is a little stiffer and stronger than most of the previous ones I've bought. It even seems to have less 'wiggle room' in the charging port, so it stays put better. (I don't know how that's possible, but I originally thought my LG G4charging port needed replaced before trying a new cord..) Much better than my original charger cable.I have had this for less than a year (8.5 months) and for the first 8 months, it was amazing! Charged super fast, length was what I needed, no problems. Then about 2 weeks ago, one night it did not charge my phone. Then every time I plugged it in after that, my phone would say charging, then five minutes later say disconnected, then a few minutes later charging and so on. So it was a great product, until it wasn't.UPDATE: After this review, I was contacted by customer support and offered an exchange or refund. Since I had already replaced it (with a different Anker cable), I opted for a refund. I would totally get this again since I know it can work great, charge super fast, and if I have problems, the manufacturer will step up. I am super satisfied!Ordered in march, now just the very end of November and I have to hold the corder in a specific way to get it to charge. Same thing happened after about 7 months with my 10ft one. Great cord otherwise, just bought another 10ft one that I also anticipate to get about 7 months of light-moderate use out of.Edit: amazing customer service, sent new cords and really care about their product and customers! Regardless of what happens with the product, they are an awesome company that is really helpful!Edit round 2: cord they re-sent broke again... just, great customer service but one medium bump and the cord will stop sitting in the charging port. Do with this what you will but I'm a bit ambivalent about purchasing a new one
