About a year ago I cobbled together a "solution" of sorts to keep from dropping my iPhone: a GoPro adhesive mount stuck to my iPhone case, coupled with a cheap plastic lanyard to wrap around my wrist or hang around my neck. It worked, but was never really satisfactory. It was sorta ugly, the GoPro mount was bulky and stuck out so I could no longer lie my phone flat on a table or set it in my cell phone stand, and the sharp edges of the lanyard cut into my wrist. I would periodically search amazon for a better solution, but never found anything.Then last week I was searching for a new case after a mishap with my OtterBox, and up pops this interesting Bone Collection lanyard with a cute little kitty cat button. Hmm, I think, and follow the link. And know instantly I've found my solution. Yes!I'm a big fan of good design, quality materials and well-made, durable items (well, who isn't?), and a touch of playful whimsey that makes me smile when using otherwise mundane items is a decided plus. All the Bone products I've seen so far fit these criteria. The way the lanyard attaches to the case and then loops around to secure to itself is genius, and the exchangeable buttons provide the smiles. After 2020 I can use all the smiles I can get!Keeping my phone off the floor is a big challenge for me. I'm disabled with multiple sclerosis and some of my medications cause me to fall asleep with little warning, so sometimes my phone goes sliding or plunging to the floor. I have a good case and screen protector and to date my phone hasn't been damaged on any of its escapades. I certainly want to keep my phone intact, but it would be even better to keep control of it in the first place and avoid the hassle of retrieving it or waiting for someone who can help me. As a plus, the silicone gives me a better grip on the phone, and keeps it from sliding so easily.So I think these Bone Lanyard series products are going to become very good helpers for me. I purchased this crossbody design first, but already have a neck and wrist lanyard ordered. Thank you, Bone Collection!
