This was the first phone holder that I've bought for my car that actually works. That should give it five stars by itself. It doesn't really suck anywhere... you insall it in your cup holder and screw it tight. This is a major advantage over any of the glass mounted or clip mounted phone holders I've used.The little gear thingy that holds your phone tight into the side arms works great. But the release in the back that lets you remove your phone is a little weak. It hasn't been a problem; I just slide my phone out when I want to remove it.And it seems to be very adjustable so I can get just the angle I want to be able to see my phone GPS while driving.I can recommend it.
