The adapter that came with my original Hyper-X Clouds died, then 2 replacements from hyper-x died as well. So far this one is almost the exact size and look as the original and is working just as well. Hoping it lasts longer but so far so good. Also works with any other headset that has separate microphone and audio connections. Tried with my xbox one and ps4, both worked fine. I will say if you need this for a Hyper-X headset you should contact their support chat and they will probably ship you a free replacement immediately. I did that and bought this one so I have a couple around.
