I really like Microsoft OCS/Office Communicator but felt limited being tethered to the computer with a USB headset. I needed a physical phone and this fit the requirement. This is a great unit. It is solidly constructed and has an outstanding speakerphone.Amazon shipped it to me quickly and it is plug & play with Office Communicator. It is nice that Communicator let me set it up as either a sound device or as a headset . . . provides flexibility with other devices.I only have two improvements - first, it has a headset jack that is for commercial headsets. It doesn't accept either USB headsets or headsets with the same jack as most SOHO devices. Second, I wish it had a key pad. It clearly has softphone control for speaker, mute and presence. It could have easily had a keypad. Instead, I have to switch to the computer to dial via the softphone.Bottom line is that I think that this is a necessity for any OCS/Communicator user. I am sure there is more to come in the future, but this is a great start.
